Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, L-3, Nairobi, Kenya

If you are a passionate and committed professional and want to make a lasting difference for children, the world's leading children's rights organization would like to hear from you. UNICEF seeks a Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist to be based in its Office in Nairobi Regional Office, Kenya.

The YCSD is a cluster of six Regional Programmes consisting of Nutrition, Water and Environmental sanitation, Immunization, Maternal and Newborn Health, Prevention of Mother to Child transmission and Pediatric Aids support the cluster functions in collaboration of other key sections mainly Planning, Communication and advocacy, Education, Child Protection and HIV AIDS. This position is established to support and coordinate the day to day activities of the cluster.

Your profile:
• Advanced degree in social science plus training in public health (preferably Biostatics/ Epidemiology).
• Experience in Monitoring – Dev Info, MICs – and in Data analysis.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong organizational skills; high drive for results; high commitment; teamwork and strong interpersonal and cross cultural skills; strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good analytical and training skills, computer literate especially with excel and database management capacity is required.
• Fluency in English and French. Working knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
