Evaluation database

Introduction

Evaluation and Research Database (ERD)

UNICEF is committed to the dissemination of lessons learned.  This database contains abstracts and full text reports of evaluations, studies and surveys related to UNICEF programes that are in compliance with UNICEF Evaluation Report Standards.  Reports from 2000 onwards are available in this database and can be sorted by country, by region, by theme or by date

Note:

  • The Evaluation Database only includes evaluations submitted by UNICEF Regional and Country offices to UNICEF Headquarters. More information on evaluations which have been undertaken but not received by UNICEF Headquarters can be made available upon request.
  • The UNICEF Evaluation Report Standards provide a reference for detailing the key content and quality aspects for reporting on all evaluations, studies and surveys undertaken.  These standards are also used by the Evaluation Office in determining which evaluation reports will be included in the Evaluation Database.
  • The following lists are evaluations which have been received but not yet rated and evaluations which have been rated and deemed to have not met the agreed standards, from 2005 onwards. These evaluations are not included in the Evaluation Database and can be made available by request.
  1. Evaluations which have been received but not yet rated. [pdf]
  2. Evaluations which have been rated and deemed 'poor quality'. [pdf]

For all queries regarding the Evaluation Database, please contact the Evaluation Database Manager.
