Vaccine markets: prioritizing and scaling up towards equitable access

The immense progress in access to vaccines has contributed to a halving of child mortality in the world. UNICEF issues this report as a rallying call to secure sufficient funding as we look forward to the 50th anniversary of the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI).
The report details the progress achieved as a testament to the scientific community, the vaccine industry, dedicated donors, international partners, and committed national governments, all playing a key role in driving the complex journey of vaccine development and delivery.
The report also looks forward setting out the challenges for vaccines in the face of future trends and the need for investment by all to continue to create sustainable, affordable, and accessible vaccine markets, and drive innovation and access to reach every child.
