Children on the Move face financial, legal, administrative, cultural or other barriers that restrict their access to health services, including immunization. To support children’s fundamental rights to health, safety and security at every step of their journey, UNICEF works with partners to address the health care needs and promote positive psychological wellbeing in children on the move and their families, support effective public health strategies and investments to ensure preventive and routine child health programmes are inclusive and accessible for all children. The thematic brief outlines key barriers and entry points to advance the inclusion of children on the move in health services.
