Join us on World Children’s Day
A better future, for every child.
World Children’s Day is UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children.
The COVID-19 pandemic has shown how inequality affects the rights of every child. From education and mental health, to ending violence and climate change, children and young people are raising their voices on the issues that matter to their generation and calling for adults to create a better future.
World Children’s Day is coming, and children can’t wait. And neither can their future.
We will dedicate a week of actions starting November 14 leading up to World Children’s Day on November 20.
Let’s combine our power, protect rights and lives of children.
We will stand up together with kids for a better world.

Kids take over
Children will ‘take over’ classrooms, schools, panchayat meetings, media houses and entertainment normally held by adults across India to shine a spotlight on issues that matter to them.
Turn the world blue
Landmark buildings across India will light up blue on the day to show support for child rights. From wearing something blue to changing your profile picture online, you too can help turn the world blue.
